Adult Cystic Acne
Adult Cystic Acne, yes we adults get these large painful inflammations, today we learn a brief definition of this form of acne.
What is Adult Cystic Acne? It is the most severe form of adult acne which we adults get, it is sometimes very painful, and will leave permanent scarring. One thing different about adult cystic acne from regular acne is that this form of acne cause cystic on not just your face, but also on your back.
They occur when the glands in our skin get clogged with oils, then that also can cause bacteria which in time will lead to the cysts and lesions that are filled with a pus substance that can turn out to be very painful.
The cysts and lesions are commonly found to be very deep under the skin, as deep as 1-2 inches. When cystic acne becomes inflamed, they do not rise to the surface like normal acne. The deep nature of this inflammation is the reason squeezing is not recommended.
Squeezing cystic acne can drive the infection deeper, and make it spread. A horrible thought isn’t it?
