OK, that being said what is the most powerful cystic acne home remedy, or homeopathic acne treatment you have ever tried? How fast did it work?
I remember when I was a teenager we had basically soap, clearasil, and alcohol. Other than that not much was known about acne, other than if you got a large breakout you were called some very ugly names that left scars inside that no cream can heal.
Homeopathic acne treatments teach and guide us that we must change our entire lives and better our health as a whole and achieve balance to cure our acne. What do you think about that?
I think this is smart, in college I took a nutrition class and learned of the awesome nutritional power of whole, natural foods such as leafy greens, organic vegetables, and sprouts tops the list. We also must add fruits, nuts, and fish that contain the good fats of mono and poly unsaturated fats. Along with whole grains.
But, it is the white sugar, flour, and highly processed foods that are our enemies. Not to mention soda pop and candy and milk.
Stress and learning to control it, with exercise and drinking lots of water are a few of the steps we can take.
I do not trust the drugs, but what products have you taken, such as herbs and what not.

yes i know when i was a kid having acne was a terrible. above all it destroys your self confidence and this may stick with you for life. mental and physical scars are a constant reminder and i know i would have loved to find treatment that worked..

Yes, I know I can totally identify with you. I am old enough to remember when we had just a couple of things for our acne like…Clearasil, alcohol, soap, stay away from soda and chocolate. I grew up kinda poor, what were we supposed to do other than just ‘tough it out.’
You are right, the emotional and mental scars can be so deep that it takes years for them to heal properly. Then, for some they never do and that is sad.
I have learned that just writing down what we feel will help us to a certain degree and maybe this blog and comment area will help someone.

I have to make myself focus on the job or project before me. In fact, I have a small Post-it note on my computer terminal that says simply… FOCUS!!

Thank you, I have to agree with you. When I started out I wasn’t putting myself in the correct frame of mind. Or as they taught in college, I wasn’t going at it from the correct perspective. I now know the mission of this site, and am going at it the best way I can. Trying to get info out to as many as I can.

Yes we recognize at what time we were a teenager having bad skin were a horrible. above all it destroys our self assurance and this might glue with us for existence. Cerebral and physical scars are a invariable prompt and we know we would have esteemed to discover behavior that worked..

Oh yes, acne does indeed destroy our self-confidence and our self-esteem, as you say these scars are deeper than skin deep and many times takes us a lifetime to get over. It is a very sad thing I believe that we get scars or wounds inside us from those teen years and sometimes they never heal. I know people in their 40′s who still hurt from things that occured then.
My, what a blessing it would be to have the knowledge then that we have now. How much happier we would have been.

I think it is a great idea to put a standards down at the top of your blog, this stops all the rubbish comments that you get at times. As for Top Commentators, DoFollow, Keyword Luv, and Comment Luv I agree with Jen, these tools allow us to keep in touch with like minded people.

Thank you, yes we have to put standards down. I have looked around and some blogs are really strict. I am not finding fault with them because I see why they do it. The standards do give a sense of order and like you said it certainly cuts down on “all the rubbish comments” we get. The spam filters WP has are a blessing for sure.
Oh yes! Those plug-ins are a wonderful tool and help both the commenter and webmaster out. They work for us when we are not even around.

I think that comment luv and Keyword Luv sites are a great way to get the community involved and commenting on your site. have you tried WP spam free plugin to help with cutting out spam. It works better than askimet.
I dont use comment luv or these types of plugins on blogs that i dont check regularly but they seem to work on blogs that are getting a decent amount of traffic.
ALl i know is that I was getting a lot of spam too. I just unchecked the comments box below each post in the dashboard for a while instead of disabling these pluggins.

I think we’re in the same boat in this one. I too was peddled all sorts of drugs and pills when I was a teen with acne. Funny thing is that no one asked me about my diet and how that could affect my skin.
I recently started eating tons of different whole grains such as quinoa and brown rice to gain some muscle in the weight room and for some reason my acne has disappeared. Must be something in the grains that I was lacking before. Any ideas?

Thank you for stopping by and reading, and for the compliment. Yes, it seems are we in agreement about the power of natural foods to heal us. The drugs do have their place in our society, and I do not want to make an enemy of them, but they also can have bad side effects. one being addiction.
That is great news to hear about you eating lots of whole grains in order to gain muscle and it healed your acne. I am very happy for you! As for what it could be in the whole grains that are healing up the acne. It could be the extra fiber in your diet helping your GI tract and digestive system in the elimination process. When we are not regular in our bowels, the wastes that are inside us release toxins into our systems. The toxins are what causes cystic acne. Another thing it could be is the increased amount of nutrients in the whole grains you are eating, sometimes our acne is caused by a lack of a vitamin or mineral in our diets. So many teenagers I see these days have tons of acne. I think it is due to their terribly poor diets. Not good for their skin at all. And all these girls have muffin-tops, not to mention the boys with breasts. Parents really need to step in and make sure their families are healty.

Thank you for stopping by. Yes, these plugins are wonderful tools for us but the spam can be bad. But, WordPress has some very good plugins to help with that as well. It gets to the point that you have to have them. If not, there are a couple of things that can happen. One is that you will be overun with spam. Two is that according to the Google Webmaster Guidelines, your site ranking will suffer.

Yes, I have noticed that also with the teens. I agree 100% with you that it is the diets, look at what they eat! All the fat, saturated fat, high sugar, high bad carbs! The parents to indeed need to step up and take a more active role in the health of their families. I learned in college about the power of whole healthy foods, it is incredible really! Everyone would benefit from it and many ailments and health problems would go away as a result. Including the acne!

I agree as well, I went to a college campus a few weeks ago promoting a new business and I saw so many people with acne that you could tell it was all from eating bad food. Some of these kids were eating greasy burgers and things like that as I was watching them.

Thank you for stopping by and reading. Oh yes, when I get a little chill time, I like to people watch at the mall and the majority of them are college kids. We have one small college and a University close by and it is just like you say. The food they are eating is the main problem in their lives with their skin. Plus, I am sure they do not get enough exercise.
That is amazing that they were even eating those greasy foods while you were speaking to them. Now, honestly, I have been away from that food so long that my stomach just cannot handle it. In fact, before my cholesterol was up, my stomach would protest those meals.
But, all for the better. I am way healthier now in all ways.

Hi there. I like your choice of niches for your site. In most cases, applying Tea Tree oil by itself will clear up acne. Also, a couple of drops of the oil mixed with honey can do wonders and improve skin condition.

thank you so much for the opportunity for us to post a comment! what I used for my acne is basically acne free terminator to take care of my acne. Nothing else really worked for me. I would first wash my face. then i would lotion it up then I would apply the terminator onto my face. in a matter of weeks the acne of my face cleared up

I understand your need for high quality comments. It’s very annoying to have to filter through those when you have a ton of other work that you need to get done.
When I was a kid we just used soap and water to get rid of acne. I have been known now to use some eye drops for redness to reduce the redness of my ‘adult acne’. I’ve wanted to try some of these infomercial things for my daughter, but don’t want to be caught in a money pit by them.

Yes, when my mother was a kid that was all she used as well was soap and water. But then, she grew up on a farm and worked long hard hours and ate a cleaner diet than many children do today. So, exercise and a cleaner diet will equal cleaner skin. Or, like I learned in college nutrition class…basically you will wear on your skin what you put into your stomach.
If you go and check out this product, and notice my research that the one supports the other. All of what that product has in it’s regimen has been proven.
