Honey and Acne
Honey and acne are not normally associated together, but honey can be used to treat and cure acne successfully.
Hi, as I promised here is a post about Honey and Acne. Honey is renowned for its healing properties but can it really help with your acne? Once you read what I have found you can make your own conclusion.
I have done some research on this topic and have found some great information and can’t wait to share it with you. So with out further a do lets get started.
Honey is the number one natural way of getting rid of acne for sensitive skin. This is because it will not leave your skin itchy, dry, and flaky. If you have found that other soaps and acne products have left your skin irritated then the give the honey mask a try.
Mix 3 tablespoons of honey with 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
Apply this mixture to the acne before bed, leave it on your skin over night and rinse it off in the morning with warm water, within two weeks of using this every night you will see a big difference in your skin and how it looks and feels.
Wonder if there is one honey type that is better then the other? Raw unprocessed is the best. From my research the best is from New Zealand called Manuka, now you’re probably wondering why is this best. Good question and the answer is because it’s high in anti-bacterial agents to help the healing of acne.
The honey that I mentioned above, Manuka is a form of an herb that will help cure acne. Both honey and cinnamon are known for their powerful healing properties, and have been used in homeopathic cures for centuries. It makes sense that they could be combined to use on acne doesn’t it?
